Phase One Consulting Services was formally Kenrick Electrical Solutions Ltd.

From a homeowner doing an Electrical Installation with a ‘Homeowners Permit”.

February 7, 2010

To whom It May Concern,

Recently we embarked on a self-build project of constructing our new home. Having moved here from another province we found codes and certain regulations to be different when it came to doing the electrical portion of our construction.

In doing this current electrical project on our home we came across situations that were not clearly identified, or clearly explained, in the simplified code book and therefore we required some assistance. We did not want to hire an electrician, however we wanted to move forward, hence we engaged the services of Ken Johnson of Phase One Consulting.

Ken was immediately there to meet with us and provide constructive solutions to all our issues. He was quick, courteous and always clearly explained what was required. His professionalism and expertise, offered through his consulting services, were clearly evident and very much appreciated.

We would certainly engage his services on future electrical projects – big or small, and highly recommend him for any electrical consulting services that may be required.

Yours truly, Lyle and Marie Cedar of Nanoose Bay, B.C.

Kenrick Electrical Solutions Ltd. conducted a risk inspection on a house with a suite for our buyer. The home had some suspicious wiring and electrical issues that were far beyond our home inspector’s expertise. Kenrick Electrical’s inspection revealed a number of important issues with the wiring and electrical box in the home. We were then able to negotiate and resolve the issues with the homeowner for a successful transaction. Kenrick Electrical was essential in protecting our buyer. We definitely recommend their electrical risk inspection services.”

I would like to extend our appreciation for a job well done.  The Electrical Inspection service you provided was timely and extremely professional.  Your follow-up and advice was second to none.  The inspection report provided clear direction for our sellers, and the buyers alike.  The reporting methodology made it perfectly clear for the buyers to hire an electrical contractor to effectively provide a quote.  It provided a level of comfort for the home buyer knowing the issues where easily rectified.  So often home sales are encumbered by unknown electrical issues.  Your company was able to provide a clear definition of the issues.  Without this report it would have left all parties in a position of weakness, both safety and liability wise.

Your inspection services have clearly made it possible for this home sale to move forward.  I would not hesitate in using your service again, and recommending the service to others.  The value added is very beneficial for both buyers and sellers alike.

Again, thank you for your professional service!

Best Regards,

I recently had the privilege of working with Ken Johnson of Kenrick Electrical in a real estate transaction in Nanaimo.  Although Ken was working for the buyer of the property and I was the agent for the seller, Ken was very helpful and professional in assisting my client to rectify several significant electrical issues that he identified in the building inspection.  It was a pleasure working with Ken and I will use him whenever my clients may need his special services in the future.  I have no reservations in recommending Kenrick to any individuals requiring electrical inspections.

Sincerely,

I just wanted to thank you for the great work you did for me on that old pub inspection I was doing. You identified a lot of electrical deficiencies in this building which had obviously undergone extensive electrical work over the years, making it more difficult to locate and identify all of the potential problems. There were numerous violations of the "code", some of which were high risk with potential for harm to people and property.

Thanks again for your expertise which complimented my report and provided a professional package to the client. I will call you again on my next commercial inspection.

Sincerely,

Vince McKinnon
