Team Leader


Team Leader: Our team leader, Ken Johnson, has over 36 years in the electrical industry, most recently as a retired Electrical Safety Inspector with the B.C. Safety Authority. Ken’s inspection areas with the BCSA consisted of the Mid Island and West Coast. He began his electrical career in the industrial sector of the oil patch of Alberta, obtaining his journeyman status and interprovincial certification. Ken was an active Electrical ‘Class B’ Contractor in British Columbia for 17 years, as well as creating and instructing many successful electrical courses, some out of Malaspina University/College (now VIU) in Nanaimo. He also has many certificates of accomplishments related to people skills from educational institutions during his tenure as a safety inspector, as well as trade specific, in his portfolio.

These are his current predominant credentials:

  1. Electrical Certificate of Qualification: FSR Class ‘A’
  2. Certificate of Qualification: Electrical Safety Inspector
  3. B.C. Provincial Instructor’s Diploma
  4. Certified Electrical Contractor: Owner/operator of Phase One Consulting Services



Bulletin

Ken Johnson is available to do group presentations on electrical inspections. We cover who we are, what we do, and more specifically, why an electrical inspection is so crucial to avoid the possibility of shock hazards and/or fire incidents from occurring. There is no charge for this service.

We will also do presentations to your group on ‘electrical related subjects’ of any kind, including safety. Please see Team Leader for our qualifications.

On the BCAA “recommended list” as an authorized agency to perform electrical inspections. Checklist approved and accepted.
